Woman Saves And Adopts Abandoned Dog At New York City Subway Station.
People in New York can send photos of useful items or furniture spotted after being thrown away in hopes of getting them to someone in need to "NYC Free at the Curb," an Instagram account that's a handy public service.
An Instagram account recently posted a photo it received of a sad looking and confused dog, who was tied up at a subway station with a rope! The picture was seen by Heather Hamm, who did not waste time even if it was night, and rushed to fetch the dog!
I took him to a vet clinic to get him checked out, and to check if he had a microchip. With no microchip left, Hamm decided to permanently adopt the dog, which he named Peaches.
No one knows how they ended up with the dog on a leash there, but now, we all know that New York is full of good people.
